West Passes Cisco Audit

West Unified Communications Services announced it’s the first telecom provider to undergo an audit, attaining the Cisco® Powered Cisco Spark Service Provider accreditation. This accreditation is a part of Cisco’s Cloud and Managed Services Program (CMSP). West was also recognized as a Cisco Partner Summit Geographical Region award-winner for Service Provider of the Year, Americas.

“As the first Cisco partner to participate in the audit process to achieve the Cisco Powered Spark Service Provider designation, we feel this demonstrates our ability to lead in the marketplace and reinforces the value we bring to our customers through operational expertise, architecture, process, delivery and back-end support,” said Randy McGraw, senior vice president of technology and operational services for West’s Unified Communications Services.

West Unified Communications Services focuses on hosted and cloud-based solutions. Its core areas include Managed Voice, Network Services, Conferencing & Collaboration, and Webinars & Enterprise Streaming. The Enterprise Video Market, compromised of webcasting, video content management, and video conferencing is at an estimated $16.34 billion; it is anticipated to rise to over 40 billion by 2022, with a CAGR of 20.1 percent.

Adding to West’s resume is its Cisco Gold Partner status and a global Cloud and Managed Services Master Partner. Other services West provides to Cisco are Managed Business Communications, Cisco Powered UC as a Service Based on HCS, and new this year, Cisco Powered Contact Center as a Service based on HCS. 

West operates out of the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and South America.
