ESI Chooses CounterPath for UC and VoIP Solutions

November 17, 2017

Estech Systems announced it has chosen CounterPath’s Bria and Stretto solutions for its premises-based IP 900 PBX deployments. ESI’s IP Server 900 is designed with SMBs in mind as an expandable, feature-rich, easy-to-use solution with scalability and flexibility to accommodate growing businesses.

“We selected CounterPath because they are the leaders in the Softphone market,” said Shawn Guenther, VP of Technology ESI. “Feature breadth and depth plus quality were the drivers for our selection of CounterPath. Bria and Stretto are a perfect match for our award winning on-premises solution.”

CounterPath offers both desktop and mobile solutions to help connect the office and the employee together, regardless of location.  For mobile, there are apps for both Android and iOS, so personal or corporate mobile OS preferences aren’t limiting.

The desktop applications include HD voice and videoconferencing, messaging and presence features, while again working with both Windows and Mac operating systems.  Like on a mobile phone, the desktop’s interface becomes a highly functioning workspace that employees can take anywhere they go. This is great for the remote worker or the BYOD employee, as well as anyone on business trips – or even to be able to stay connected on vacation.  The CounterPath applications for the office can be integrated directly into business devices.

“ESI is a great fit for CounterPath, having deployed over 350,000 systems,” said Todd Carothers, EVP of Sales & Marketing of CounterPath. “ESI shares our common vision of a ubiquitous UC environment where users can use any device as part of their communications.”

CounterPath has already partnered with many prevalent communications companies, including Avaya, Cisco, BroadSoft, Adobe, and Yealink.
