ClearOne Now Avaya Compliant

August 23, 2017

Conference calls are a necessary component of the modern working world, as they cut back on road warrior responsibilities, making the globe a much smaller place. A vital piece to a successful conference call is audio quality. From the IP phone on your desk to the unified communications platform in place, all pieces play an integral role.

Recently, ClearOne announced the suite of CONVERGE Pro 2 DSP mixers are now compliant with Avaya engagement solutions. The 128V, 128VD, 48V mixers provide exceptional audio conferencing quality while coming at a pocket friendly price point and the flexibility to support a conferencing room of any size.

The CONVERGE Pro 2 DSP mixers gained compliance via successful testing with the newest versions of CP2 firmware and Avaya Aura Session Manager 7.0 and Avaya Aura Communication Manager 7.0 using SIP. ClearOne is Technology Partner in Avaya’s DevConnect program, allowing them an inside track to innovating with integration and compliance in focus.

"Technology Partners like ClearOne understand the importance of DevConnect compliance testing to customers," said Eric Rossman, vice president, Developer Relations, Avaya." CONVERGE Pro 2 mixers provide customers using the Avaya Aura Platform with more choices for professional quality conferencing audio."

Durai Ramachandiran, ClearOne Senior Director of Product Line Management for Pro Voice and AV Networking, noted "Using open-standards platforms and compliance testing with these Avaya solutions helps us provide an even wider range of benefits and cost-effective installation options for AV practitioners and their customers."

Avaya is building a strong reputation of cloud communications solutions, but while it is in the cloud ClearOne is ensuring that those with their feet on the ground can have collaborative and productive meetings. Well played, ClearOne.
