Voxox Names Kevin Weber as Sales EVP

With so much to offer, Voxox needs to ensure that it has the best person possible at the head of its sales department. That’s why the company has decided to appoint Kevin Weber as its new EVP of Sales. In his new position, Weber will be responsible for expanding revenue generation efforts, including distribution channel development, growing the sales team nationwide, and overall oversight of the sales organization and resource alignment to ensure client success. 

Weber is confident in his ability to help the company, stating, “My greatest strength and passion lies in taking a sales organization to the next level," said Weber. "Voxox has a wide breadth of SME products, strong sales and support teams, and key channel connections in place. The company is in excellent shape for building upon this foundation and driving more revenue through an expanded footprint and sales growth strategy."

His resume certainly makes it seem as though he’s the right man for the job. According to the announcement, “In his most recent role, Weber was recruited by Nitel in 2011 to grow its U.S. presence from two offices to nationwide penetration. Despite contraction and heavy competition in the industry, Weber convinced Nitel to utilize a decentralized channel agent model, which within four years, yielded significantly higher organic domestic sales at record profitability.”

Additionally, Weber has also worked with Cbeyond as part of the founding team and the company’s first sales employee while it was still a telecom upstart. Earlier in his career, Weber was recruited to develop and expand the direct sales force for Intermedia’s voice services. He’s also been recognized in the industry throughout his career for developing top leaders and sustained performance exceeding critical goals in both growth and profitability.

For these reasons, Weber was an obvious choice when Voxox was deciding on who to name to the position.
