800Comms Makes BroadCloud-based UC&C Available in UK

It is getting increasingly more complex to deploy advanced communication solutions. As more devices, platforms and applications need to be integrated in order to address availability, the technology to make it possible is beyond the scope of the vast majority of organizations. Vendors in the communications industry are addressing this problem by forming partnerships so they can deliver the services their customers will need. For 800Comms, which was looking to provide cloud-based Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) in the UK, the partnership required OneCloud Networks and BroadSoft.

800Comms is a UC&C company based in the UK specializing in providing collaboration tools for SMBs, call centers and the hospitality sector by providing scalable, flexible and reliable enterprise grade communication solutions. The company is already a reseller of One Cloud Networks’ InfusiOne Solutions and deploys BroadSoft’s solutions, but the new arrangement is going to increase the cloud capability of 800Comms' UC&C offering.

The CEO of 800Comms explained the company's desire to offer unified communications solutions to its customers as a hosted platform. He said, “Our fully scalable offering enables our small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprise customers to take benefit from a hosted communications solution with a carrier-grade voice and video quality and team collaborative tools.”

The BroadSoft BroadCloud platform is going to give 800Comns access to a network of 29 data centers in seven countries to further ensure the reliability and availability of its services. The new extended services will include: collaboration, chat, conferencing and shared docs; voice service via desk phone, mobile, computer and tablet; CRM integration; Google Apps or Office 365; hybrid WAN and application performance monitoring; and more.

BroadCloud allows resellers to launch mobile-first unified communications, team collaboration and contact center solutions faster without extensive upfront capital costs. This includes the ability to deliver the complete BroadSoft Business suite of hosted PBX, UC, team collaboration and contact centers. The platform is available in three different deployment models: Carrier, Reseller and PaaS.
