One of the biggest challenges for small and medium businesses in deploying unified communication services is integrating the technology and using it efficiently. While large enterprises have the resources to hire the right personnel to simplify the transition process for a new deployment, for SMB's it is not always possible. The SASBOSS by Access4 enables BroadSoft's suite of unified communication (UC) solutions to be more manageable without technical expertise.

According to Access4, its biggest differentiator in the market is the ease of use it has made possible with the solutions BroadSoft (News - Alert) offers. As a global provider of software and services that enable mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to offer UC over their Internet Protocol networks, BroadSoft has a wide range of services for consumers, SMB's and large enterprises. This includes, unified communications as a service (UCaaS) with calling, messaging and collaboration communication services, including private branch exchanges, video calling, text messaging and converged mobile and fixed-line services.

Kelvin Beadle, vice president, Asia Pacific, BroadSoft, said, “With the small and medium sized businesses that we see, they almost all universally love the services that UC offers. However, deploying, changing and adding new users and services needs to be ultra-simple. Resellers also need to be on-boarded easily. We believe Access4 has accomplished this.”

Access4 is an Australian cloud telecommunications wholesale provider and BroadSoft BusinessCloud specialist. And what it has done with SASBOSS gives systems integrators the tools they need to rapidly design their own product offerings within the BroadSoft framework that can be tailored to businesses of all sizes, which according to the company can be as few as two users or scale to thousands. And all these capabilities can be provisioned within 10 minutes using SASBOSS platform.

In addition to SASBOSS, Access4 also provides UCaaS to independent systems integrators so they can deliver cloud voice and video services to their end user clients, as well as business telephone provisioning.

“Combining the BroadWorks and SASBOSS platforms, partners can build, deploy and support cloud UC services without deep engineering resources or capital investments. Service quality is a key expectation that businesses have of their PBX (News - Alert) and UC solutions and BroadSoft enables us to deliver a market leading, world class solution,” said Ruy Franco, Sales and Marketing Director, Access4.

BroadWorks is an Application Server for IP-Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) environments delivering network agnostic services that gives carriers expanded service reach, fixed-mobile convergence (FMC), streamlined application integration, and operational cost savings. It allows service providers to offer a differentiated set of communication services they can apply across multiple delivery networks and end devices.

Access4 has chosen to deliver UCaaS services through its cloud-based model exclusively backed by BroadSoft technology. The addition of SASBOSS will make all of BroadSoft's technology available on its web-based provisioning and service management portal so its partners can manage the services in real time with an easy to use interface.
