Avotus Deliver More Visibility for UC with Enhanced Usage Reporting Solution

Unified communications (UC) bring together a wide range of technologies to give organizations every option imaginable when they are trying to communicate with their employees, customers and everyone in the supply chain. For the service providers, having clear visibility of their UC applications ensures their customers will always have access to the communication tools they need. Avotus Corporation, provider of Intelligent Communications Management (ICM) solutions, announced the improvements it has made on its Enhanced Usage Reporting for UC (EUR UC) will allow administrators to experience greater visibility into their UC services.

According to Avotus (News - Alert), organizations will now have an integrated and streamlined tracking and reporting platform that monitors instant messaging (IM), presence, voice, wireless and video conferencing.

The company is demonstrating the EUR for UC at Cisco (News - Alert) Live, Cisco's annual IT and communications conference, which is currently being held from July 10-14, 2016 in Las Vegas. This means the solution Avotus provides has been Cisco certified, in this case up to Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) Manager (CUCM) 10.5 and integrated with all CUCM versions up to 11.5.

The certification with Cisco delivers Cisco's Unified Presence to protect against security vulnerabilities into the enterprise with reports of protection against data breaches by tracking multiple actions individuals and organizations take throughout the day.

With this deployment, organizations can expect Unified Communications and Collaboration reports with drill-down of each employee, department or location on how they use voice and video calls, conference calls (audio/video), IM, file transfers and mobile usage. The platform can be deployed as an on premises installation, or delivered through the cloud with integration capabilities of more than 130 models of legacy PBX (News - Alert) systems.

The combination of the Avotus EUR for UC along with Cisco's Unified Presence will give administrators the tools they need to monitor all potential threats and stop them before services are interrupted or compromise the corporate network.
