Unified Communications Week in Review: Tadiran, Ooredoo, Make-a-Wish & Mitel

Middle East communications provider Ooredoo announced its plans to enhance its next generation business services courtesy of Cisco (News - Alert). Cloud adoption in region is in a growth phase, and demand for cloud voice and collaboration solutions is on the rise. This week, The Make-a-Wish Foundation announced it has turned to Mitel (News - Alert) to upgrade its communication tools. Make-a-Wish is leveraging the MiCloud in its Phoenix, Arizona, office as well as the MiCollab collaboration system.  As Mitel Cloud Services executive vice president and general manager Jon Brinton explains “Seamless, real-time communications and collaboration are critical for organizations like Make-A-Wish who work across multiple nationwide locations to carefully orchestrate wish fulfillment with families, staff, donors and many other integral players. Unified Communications (News - Alert) Provider ShoreTel announced a partnership with Voxbone to extend the reach of its Cloud PBX service. Expansion is on the wish list of every firm, and ShoreTel (News - Alert) is no different. Its recently launched Connect Cloud and Connect HYBRID solutions come at an exciting time. Jessica N. Also in the news this week, Tadiran (News - Alert) Telecom formed a partnership with SoTel systems to broaden the reach of the Aoenix and Coral platforms.
