As businesses create new products, introducing them to market and finding a customer base can sometimes be the most difficult part. A partnership with the right distributor can expedite the process of finding an audience without the capital investment it would take if a company was to go at it alone. The new distribution partnership with Tadiran (News - Alert) Telecom, provider of Unified Communications & Collaboration (UC&C), contact center, and control room software solutions, with SoTel Systems, a value added distributor of traditional and VOIP telephony, will look to extend the reach of the Aeonix and Coral platforms to more customers in different parts the of the world.
The agreement of the partnership is going to allow SoTel to sell Tadiran's Aeonix and Coral platforms through its distribution channels, as well as the business partners Tadiran has in North and South America.
What SoTel brings to this partnership is 35 years of experience in providing quality products and expertise with the fastest delivery channel to a global customer base. Currently the company represents more than 42 world class brands with business communications products and services serving the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
As a software only communications solution, Aeonix brings together different business applications into a single, fault tolerant platform. The UC, contact center and dispatch console platforms are all part of Aeonix residing in a single virtual instance or commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) servers. This gives the software a low TCO and the flexibility and scalability for deployments in multiple locations without limitations. The standard system solution can provide service from 10 to 25,000 users.
Aeonix can port between different virtualization platforms, including VMware, Hyper-V and AWS, which Tadiran calls "Bring Your Own Cloud."
Coral is a family of powerful communications products with built-in voice and data convergence by combining IP-rich technology with the reliability of time-division multiplexing (TDM) technologies. It supports anywhere from single to multi-site network deployments with models that can scale from 12 to more than 6,000 ports.
"Tadiran's expertise in this market, combined with our broad coverage and technology integration capabilities, will bring significant benefits to both businesses" said Jim Goebel, President and CEO of SoTel.
A good distribution partnership requires a good understanding of what each side brings to the table. If the fit is right, it can last forever, bringing mutual growth for both parties. Tadiran's solutions and SolTel’s expertise in the sector look like a good combination.
