Masergy Wins INTERNET TELEPHONY UC EXCELLENCE Award

TMC’s (News - Alert) INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine has awarded Masergy Communications a 2015 Unified Communications (News - Alert) Excellence Award.

“It gives me great pleasure to present Masergy with a 2015 Unified Communications Excellence Award for their Global UCaaS solution and the team's commitment to addressing the real needs of the marketplace," TMC CEO Rich Tehrani (News - Alert) said. "It's inspiring to see such commitment to excellence and I look forward to seeing future innovation from Masergy."

Masergy’s award is for its Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platform. The company touts its advantage over on-premises UC solutions, offering what it says is reliable communications with business continuity features built in. The system runs on a highly-reliable network with redundancy and scalability.

The company markets its cloud UC to companies that have geographically distributed offices, stressing its international reach Masergy already supports voice delivery in 51 countries worldwide.

A lot of businesses are moving to managed solutions like the kind Masergy offers simply because they’re so much cheaper and easier to set up than the old on-premises systems were. They don’t have to have technicians wire up old PBXes when somebody new joins an organization.  To make changes, an administrator just has to make a few clicks.

They also save a lot of money on hardware, shifting spending from large capital expenditures on hardware to smaller operating expenditures.

It’s not the first time that TMC has recognized Masergy. The company received the 2015 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award for UCaaS Analyst and the 2015 Unified Communications Product of the Year Award winner for UCaaS, as well at the 2015 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year.

Masergy is justifiably proud of its accomplishments.
