The legendary Sennheiser has been specializing in audio since 1945, long before the current digital revolution. However, the company has been creating new generation headphones designed to address the audio requirements of today’s digital environment for both individual consumers and businesses.
The company just announced the Culture Plus headset, which are designed to give office workers with Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) deployments an easier time adapting to their new environment.
According to the company, the new headset includes the sound quality Sennheiser is known for, along with certification for Skype (News - Alert) for Business and compatibility with all major UC and softphone brands. With UC deployments, companies integrate a wide range of services under one umbrella to give their employees a comprehensive solution for interacting and collaborating with their customers, colleagues, partners and vendors.
Poor sound quality can greatly limit business communications, whether in a one-on-one dialogue or a conference with many participants from around the world. The Sennheiser Voice Clarity (News - Alert) technology has wideband sound to provide a more natural listening experience along with noise-cancelling microphones. Together they deliver better speech intelligibility and ambient noise filtering under the noisiest conditions.
Profiles can be set to automatically adjust the audio setting by optimizing the voice quality of calls, and if the user is listening to music or watching a movie it adjusts. If there is sudden outburst coming from the speakers, Sennheiser’s advanced ActiveGard technology makes sure your ears are protected by automatically adjusting the volume.
“Headsets are an important consideration in any UC deployment”, says Lars Riis Rasmussen, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, EMEA, at Sennheiser Communications (News - Alert). "Culture Plus is an ideal solution for organizations that want their office workers to rapidly adopt headsets in a UC environment. It combines Sennheiser sound quality and instant wearing comfort in a communications experience that will make it easier to enjoy the benefits and activate the full potential of UC solutions.”
Headsets may not be a priority when companies are looking for UC, but in the long run having quality headsets will provide many tangible benefits. Smart products like these are one of the many perks that come with updated UC systems.
