Extreme Networks Bestows Award on Carousel for Top Partner Revenue Growth

Extreme Networks has named Carousel Industries, a Unified Communications (News - Alert), managed services, data solutions and visual communications provider, a “Top National Year-over-Year Growth” award.

"We congratulate Carousel Industries on its continued success with Extreme Networks (News - Alert),” Extreme director of strategic accounts John Fahmy said. "Carousel has been a key partner for Extreme, taking full advantage of our partner programs and leading software-driven solutions. Together, Carousel and Extreme have achieved a value-driven customer focus in 2015.”

Extreme Networks said that Carousel tripled its revenue over the past year.

The company’s success is exemplified by two of its major projects. Carousel used Extreme Technologies’ solution to connect the 71,870-seat Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, where the Buffalo Bills football team plays. The stadium subsequently broke the record for the number of fans connecting to the network at one time.

Carousel also wired up Oral Roberts University. Although Christian universities aren’t exactly known for their technical innovation, the university is embarking on an ambitious plan to create a “digital society,” including using telepresence robots.

Carousel cited Extreme Networks’ technology as the key to its success in generating revenues, including its partner programs and software-driven solutions.

The company is justifiably proud of the award and optimistic about what the partnership will allow both companies to achieve in the future.
