Capita UC Solution Allows the Shift to Flexible Business Communications

Capita recently launched a cloud-based unified communications (UC) system designed to help businesses make their communications more efficient. Known as Capita Unified Communications (News - Alert) in the Cloud (CUCC), the service supports a mobile workforce and provides the usual benefits, such as scalability and reduced labor costs that come with cloud-based systems.

Half of the workforce holds a job that supports telework and about 20-25 percent takes advantage of that opportunity with some frequency. The overwhelming majority of the workforce (80-90 percent) wants to telework about two or three days each week.

Businesses not only need to reach teleworkers, but also employees out in the field, those working from branch or satellite offices, and business partners. Communications solutions must also support a variety of mobile devices.
