OneCloud Networks, a provider of business Unified Communications (UC) solutions, is upgrading its virtual Public Branch eXchange (PBX (News - Alert)) and UC offerings by migrating to BroadSoft’s BroadCloud fully-managed service. BroadCloud delivers comprehensive UC services to help service providers speed time-to-market and accelerate time to new service revenue. OneCloud has been a customer of the BroadWorks Voice over IP (VoIP) applications platform for several years and was searching for a solution that would enable significant physical expansion and create an opportunity for offering customers new UC features.

BroadCloud is a white labeled service that service providers brand, market and sell to customers in order to enjoy the benefits of standardization without losing flexibility. BroadCloud augments product management with branding, product listing, pricing and reporting tools and enhances sales with an order management portal for quoting, ordering and reporting. Readiness assessment tools come in handy for the sales process as well as for baselining networks before installation.  Furthermore there are support portals for customer service teams, self-service admin portals for customer administrators and service configuration portals for users. Overall the turnkey solution helps minimize internal development investment, maximize scalability and ensure rapid service delivery of new UC features.

“BroadCloud significantly speeds our service innovation and, at the same time, increases our geographic market coverage,” said Haider Mirjat, Chief Solutions Officer at OneCloud Networks. “With BroadSoft (News - Alert)'s cloud service, we can now scale our solution nationally beyond current markets, while covering the full business customer lifecycle, from initial quote to service activation to support.”

By adopting BroadCloud, OneCloud Networks customers will now have access to BroadSoft’s UC-One solution, which brings together a variety of essential communications channels to enhance business productivity. Enabling connections, calls and collaborations between any mix of devices, it includes support for presence, instant messaging (IM), video calling, integrated business calling, multi-party voice and video collaboration, desktop sharing and most other communications services. BroadSoft service providers will be able to deploy these UC services either via the BroadWorks platform or BroadCloud.

“OneCloud Networks is a forward thinking cloud innovator that recognizes the technologies, products and services businesses need to effectively communicate and collaborate,” said Ken Rokoff, Vice President of BroadCloud at BroadSoft. “We are thrilled OneCloud Networks will leverage BroadCloud to rapidly deliver hosted communications services to market and to scale to an expanded national footprint.”
