Unified Communications Week in Review: MegaPath, ADTRAN, Windstream and More

Early in the week, we saw MegaPath Cloud Services, a division of the cloud communications company MegaPath, announce new features for its UC service to enable better connections between MegaPath users and their customers, partners and colleagues.

Huntsville, Alabama-based ADTRAN made headlines earlier this week with the announcement that it added its NetVanta Ethernet switches to its ProCloud service. The addition will allow customers to have better management over their networks, resulting in more uptime in an environment where global access is expected 24/7. Meanwhile, over in Asia and the South Paciific, UCaaS and Mobility Solutions are slated to become the next big drivers of UC market growth, according to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Moving on to accolades, Windstream’s UCaaS was awarded TMC’s Unified Communications Product of the Year Award.
