Comings and Goings: Birch Announces Upgrade to Systems and New Hires
Birch Communications, a leading provider of communications, network and cloud services for companies that range from small, mid-sized and enterprise businesses has announced it is investing in additional management and order processing staff. The company has also said it is bringing new system enhancements for its Service Delivery operations. This new investment is geared toward continuing to focus on the customer experience from the first order entry, until order completion.
One of the new staff investments is the addition of Kristen Ritchie as the firm’s new Vice President of Order Processing. The hiring of Ritchie is geared toward helping the firm shore up its rapid customer growth in the Order Processing market. "Kristen's expertise and results-oriented approach to tackling complex business issues will bolster our ability to continue to process orders with quality and speed, as well as enhance our post-sale delivery of products and services to best serve our customers. Her prior success leading call center operations, including all care related touch points with Birch's customers, will also be a great asset," Vincent M. Oddo, President and CEO of Birch said in a recent release announcing the hire.
Because service delivery is an important part of Birch’s offerings, the company also recently released a new system update for its software. In particular, the update will affect its online customer portal, BirchConnect. The enhancements mean a more intuitive UI as well as functionality that allows customers to manage their voice, data, cloud and IT services in a more intuitive way.
Along with the hiring of Ritchie, the company brought Chris Busselll on board as its new Director of Order Processing and Training. Birch believes that the new hires, as well as the upgrades to the software its offering will make the company that much stronger in the long run. The firm currently has a presence in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
