Master Agent Sandler Partners Joins Digium Cloud Agent Program
A new telecom master agent agreement has been forged between Digium, Inc. and Sandler Partners. Sandler has joined the Digium Cloud Agent Program as a Master Agent, which will enable the company’s clients to add Digium’s Switchvox Cloud Unified Communications phone system to their portfolios.
The partnership expands Sandler’s reach and gives its partners a highly customizable option for adding UC offerings to their telecom portfolios. As a master agent, Sandler strives to give its clients a variety of voice and data options at the lowest possible rate structure.
The Digium Switchfox offering features full UC functionality delivered through one server and under one license. Applications include voicemail, faxing, IVR, call recording, ACD and mobility and presence features. As a member of the Cloud Agent Program, Sandler will be able to take advantage of this affordable pricing model and pass along those savings to its customers.
"We specifically wanted to work with Digium to provide our agents with a comprehensive unified communications phone system that is highly customizable," said Alan Sandler, founder and managing partner of Sandler Partners. "Switchvox Cloud provides our more hands-on and technical agents a solution that can be tailored to solve almost any business communications' need."
"We are excited to have Sandler Partners offer Switchvox Cloud and SIP Trunking to its extensive network of cloud agents, and be a reliable resource for current Digium partners,” added Jim Butler, director of global channel sales at Digium.
A growing number of telecom master agents are embracing cloud services and solutions as a way to extend more affordable and flexible options to their partners and clients. Telarus recently expanded its partnership with managed networking and cloud services player Masergy through a new agreement testifying to the master agent’s commitment to work with partners on UC, SIP and WAN solutions. And master agent EarthBend announced a partnership with Crexendo that enables it to offer the Crexendo Cloud Communications Platform to its partners.
The cloud has effectively changed the distribution model for the entire telecom and IT channel and master agents are rapidly embracing and incorporating cloud offerings into their portfolios as part of this evolving way of delivering services.
