Jinny's Consolidated Messaging Solution, ViO, Deployed by Sure Guernsey
Jinny Software recently announced that its consolidated messaging solution, ViO, has been deployed successfully by Sure Guernsey, a leading telecommunication services supplier. The new contract and deployment will include domestic and wholesale SMSC replacements, an upgrade to the existing Jinny MMSC and a comprehensive Business Reporting Suite. Jinny Software is a global mobile VAS infrastructure, mobile advertising and diameter signaling solutions provider.
In a release, Richard Choi, chief commercial officer, Jinny Software, said, “Sure we’re a long-term customer of Jinny when they started this selection process to consolidate their messaging infrastructure. We were delighted to be selected against stiff competition and look forward to developing our relationship even further as we help Sure and all of our customers optimize their VAS operations.”
ViO allows the enterprises to enable and manage the wide range of Jinny’s VAS services and applications, including messaging, call and media, device management, and mobile advertising on a single platform. The different applications are aggregated into one feature rich optimized configuration with a single point of integration into the mobile operator’s network and into the core network functions of operations and maintenance, customer care and billing, reporting and management.
Alan Ward, Transmission Supervisor at Sure, said, “We chose Jinny Software because they provided the consolidated Messaging Platform functionality, performance and flexibility that we needed across our retail and wholesale operations. The combination of the best TCO and already knowing the existing service levels available from Jinny made it easy for us to choose them for this project.”
Critical benefits of the Value Add Services solution, ViO, include industry leading resources management and virtualization technology; end-to-end services on a highly optimized and consolidated platform, which previously required 3 vendors; significant OPEX saving; reduction of the physical footprint, power consumption and operational cost; ease of use and administration of the unified system.
Jinny’s portfolio also includes security, filtering and control services, and caters to the needs of mobile network operators, virtual network operators and enablers, and other enterprises. Jinny offers flexible commercial models such as software capacity license, pay-per-use cloud messaging or managed platforms; complete distributed architecture; and enables customers to different cellular network technologies simultaneously including GSM, CDMA, TDMA, iDEN, 2G, 3G, LTE, and WiMAX.
