These new solutions include hybrid and on-premises video solutions, which provide flexible options to the users. Other benefits like scalability, reliability and security are present in these solutions as well.
Polycom has also unveiled RealPresence One, which allows users to subscribe to virtualized collaboration. Other solutions include Polycom RealPresence Platform, Virtual Editions; Polycom RealPresence Immersive Studio; and Polycom RealPresence Media Manager v6.6.
Polycom RealPresence One and Polycom RealPresence Platform (Virtual Editions) are immediately available for shipping in some countries.
The company plans to launch Polycom RealPresence Media Manager v6.6. Polycom RealPresence Mobile v3.1 software application for smartphones and tablets is available for free download from Apple (News - Alert) iTunes.
Polycom RealPresence brings together its platform and software endpoints to give an affordable video platform for the users. Based on virtualized video network, the RealPresence platform enables IT managers to decrease deployment time and total cost of ownership.

Recently, the company partnered with Teliris. According to the terms of this partnership, Teliris (News - Alert) will service and resell Polycom’s full range of video collaboration solutions. Teliris will also offer endpoint management and call-production capabilities.
