Zultys Launches MX Release 9.0 and MXvirtual

Zultys, a leading unified communications solutions provider, has announced the launch of MX Release 9.0 which in turn introduces MXvirtual as part of the MX Unified Communications platform. The MX Unified Communications platform has been designed to seamlessly integrate the customer’s voice, data, video, presence and mobility solutions into a single system. Release 9.0 comes with additional capabilities which enable customers to move company infrastructure to the cloud with great flexibility. Release 9.0 is available for download immediately and existing customers with a current software subscription are eligible for free access to the upgrade.

Release 9.0 includes additional capabilities including Microsoft Exchange Communicator; centralized MXIE Unified Communication client management for the system administrators; integration of Plantronics wireless headset with MXIE softphone; enhancements of the MXnetwork’s capabilities; and introduction of MXoutbound, a fully integrated outbound dialer solution. The Microsoft Exchange Communicator enables Zultys MX phone systems to now integrate with Microsoft Exchange Online, Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013 through Exchange Web Services. The centralized MXIE Unified Communication client management will allow system administrators easily manage the settings and call handling rules for all users on the MX system. The integration with the MXIE softphone will enable the Plantronics wireless headset to have call answer control.

In a release, Steve Francis, chief sales and marketing officer, Zultys, said, "The most important aspect of Release 9.0 is that whether deployed in the cloud or at the user's premise, the experience is identical from both an administrator and a user's stand point. With Release 9.0, we now provide our Channel Partners and customers with a flexible system architecture that allows pure cloud, pure premise deployment, or any combination of the two."
