Dialogic and Gintel (News - Alert) have upgraded the existing hosted unified communications (UC) offering from Network Norway with their integrated solutions.
Gintel solved Network Norway’s integration challenges by deploying Dialogic’s (News - Alert) signaling server, software media server and integrated media gateways.
“Dialogic’s offerings amplify existing networks and enhance any-to-any connections such that service providers can future-protect their systems without interruption for maximum customer satisfaction and return,” said Andrew Goldberg (News - Alert), senior vice president of marketing and strategy for Dialogic.
These solutions also offer enhanced conferencing and auto-attendant capabilities for the Norwegian service provider. The upgrade of UC offering resulted in several benefits for Network Norway including increased market share, reliable service and world class signaling session performance.
“Prior to the upgrade, our existing solution, also based on Gintel and Dialogic, had been in service for more than five years – it was essential that migration to the new infrastructure didn’t disrupt our services,” said Stig Roberg, product manager at Network Norway. “Thanks to the efforts of the team, we had a graceful transition and our customers continued to enjoy the service levels and reliability they expect.”
Dialogic’s solutions were implemented by Gintel to help the Norwegian mobile network operator manage all traffic and have significantly increased the subscriber base of the service provider.
Gintel delivers value-added services to mobile network operators. It shares a long standing business relationship with Network Norway and the service provider has been using Gintel’s Easy Virtual PaBX platform since 2007.
The company was recently in news when it enabled Dipper to launch a new set of advanced business voice services for SME customers.
Dipper is a new MVNO that offers small businesses access to easy to use mobile capabilities at a fixed price. There is no contract tie-in for clients to use these offerings by Dipper.
