Vocalocity Features on Deloitte's 2013 Technology Fast 500 List

Deloitte (News - Alert) has named Vocalocity to its Technology Fast 500 list for the third consecutive year.

Vocalocity, a Vonage company, provides hosted VoIP phone systems to small businesses in the U.S. and Canada. The company ranked 188th among the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.

Technology Fast 500, conducted by Deloitte LLP, provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies – both public and private - in North America.

“Over the past few years, Vocalocity (News - Alert) has grown at an astounding rate, and we credit that success to our customers who choose Vocalocity to power their businesses,” said Wain Kellum, former CEO of Vocalocity and now president of Vonage (News - Alert) Business Solutions, in a statement.

Earlier in August, Synergy (News - Alert) Research Group confirmed that Vocalocity continues to maintain a strong lead in the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) market.

The UCaaS market grew 22 percent year-over-year in Q2 2013 with Vocalocity generating annual revenue growth of 45 percent in the same period. In the same month, Vocalocity announced that it has won INTERNET TELEPHONY’s 2013 Excellence Award.
