Verba Now Allows Complete Collaboration Recording for Cisco Unified Communications Platform

Verba, a provider of call recording and video recording solutions for Unified Communications platforms, has unveiled the 7th generation Verba Recording System.

An important update to Verba’s Cisco recording portfolio, the new Verba Recording System is the first complete collaboration recording solution for the Cisco unified communications platform, Verba officials said.

This is a game-changing product as it redefines the call recording service that currently focuses just the voice part of the communications, they added.

The solution provides a comprehensive, integrated system for recording Cisco Unified solutions that can scale small businesses to global organizations. The system finds applications at contact centers, financial institutions, and security companies.

Verba Recording System has enabled a complete suite of devices ranging from mobile, desktop and softphones to video conference and telepresence solutions that allow customers to record not only voice calls, but video from their desktop phone right through to telepresence rooms.

Through the voice and video recording solutions, Verba helps organizations better manage risk and compliance, develop quality assurance and increase productivity to enhance their business.An important update to Verba’s Cisco recording portfolio, the Verba Recording System offers the possibility to record calls remotely from Cisco TDM gateways and the CUBE SBC. The technology allows a completely virtualized Verba recording environment that not only captures calls terminated on Cisco phones, but also extends this capability to remote extensions and Cisco Jabber mobile calls.

Verba team has been working with recording of Cisco Unified Communication since 2002, and three versions of the Verba call recording technology was tested and certified by Cisco as a Cisco Compatible product, the company said in an official statement recently.

Verba Recording System for the Cisco Unified Communications solutions will be showcased at a trade show in Florida this week.
