Williams F1, a British Formula One motor racing team and constructor, contracted ShoreTel to be the official supplier during the 2013-2014 Formula One season, to provide UC solutions across the full breadth of the Williams organization. Both on-track activities and the technology center at Qatar will enjoy seamless end-to-end global teamwork by leveraging the ShoreTel solutions.

unified communications recently reported that ShoreTel offers full-featured communication solutions, and its “Pure IP” focus enables seamless integration of all communication modes. The company’s IP Phone systems are designed to unify business communication methods into a single, easy-to-manage solution that’s designed from the ground up for IP networks and the phone system is a completely integrated system that scales seamlessly from one to 10,000 users including PBX, voicemail and automated attendant functions.

The ShoreTel IP phone systems will be responsible for delivering high-quality Williams F1 Team communications before, during and after the races.

Williams Enterprise asserted that it is a diverse and multi-disciplined engineering business, which relies on high-quality, mission-critical communications – so this cooperation with ShoreTel is one which will benefit not only the Formula One team, but every area of its business as it continues to diversify and expand into new areas.
