ooVoo Unveils Mobile App Offering Best-in-Class Video Chat

ooVoo has unveiled a mobile app especially for the iPhone (News - Alert), iPad and Android smartphones and tablets. The latest ooVoo mobile app, which offers high-quality video chat, allows users to record and share video messages known as "ooVies." The video calling experience on all devices has been modernized by the perceptive design of the app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google (News - Alert) Play for no extra cost.

The ooVoo mobile app has several ground-breaking features, like a completely fresh user experience along with the "tap-tap-go" group calling interface. For the first time, an app now offers video status updates. The different video call effects like filters are available for all video calls. As requested by ooVoo (News - Alert) users, the latest mobile app now offers photo and video messaging. The app is currently available in twelve languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.

The app also includes a ‘Me screen’, wherein a user can generate his/her profile with the help of videos, photos, and text status updates; and a ‘Friends screen’, wherein the user can view videos, photos, and text status messages generated by the user’s friends. Users can locate and add friends across ooVoo, Facebook (News - Alert), Twitter, Google, and a personal contact list with the highly developed friend-finder capability.

Users can now stay connected with their preferred friends and families with the ‘Fab 5’ feature. This feature offers simplified access to the preferred friends and families with a single tap from the app's welcome screen.
