Abletek recently announced the release of Zultys (News - Alert) MX 8.0 unified communications software in a move to strengthen resiliency and recovery capabilities for its customers. The latest version of the software has received the 2013 IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award from CUSTOMER Magazine and also the Unified Communications (News - Alert) TMC Labs Innovation Award.

The latest version leverages the SIP-based unified communication technology of Zultys to launch MXnetwork Redundancy and to upgrade MXcluster Redundancy to meet the dynamic demands of the industry today. The new release of the software includes the launch of an integrated SIP softphone to Zultys’ MXIE UC client for Mac and MXoutbound, its integrated outbound dialer.
The MX 8.0 version has revamped the complete suite of MX platform with further enhancements to MXcluster N+1 architecture to provide high levels of resiliency and reliability options for organizations with user base ranging from 20 to 1000. The improved interface allows users to set-up the MXcluster in a few minutes while providing real-time status update and simplified control features to manage any unforeseen hardware breakdown.
The new version extends support for FTPS and SFTP file transfer on SSL/TLS encryption codes. The application also enables historical data backup, easy retrieval and also importing the historic data to newer file versions. The other features of the new release include interactive voice response (IVR) and MXoutbound dialer with HTTP level monitoring of Web requests related to these features.
