Tier 1 Carrier Awards Voiceserve with $1M Mobile Softphone Dialer Contract

July 15, 2013

Voiceserve, an Internet telephony software and service provider, has procured a contract from a Tier 1 carrier for the deployment of network services and mobile dialer solutions. The contract, valued at $1 million, will cover a period of five years.

As a software platform provider, the company serves the needs of Internet telephony providers (ITSPs). It offers products like VoipSwitch, a custom modular all-in-one Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) management platform licensing solution for resellers.

With the new contract, Voiceserve will work with Android, Apple, BlackBerry and Windows dialers to serve international calling application needs and to deliver voice and text communication over mobile and Wi-Fi networks.

Michael Bibelman, CEO of Voiceserve, said, “We are delighted to secure another significant contract win for Voiceserve, which provides further evidence of the viability of our integrated model in a challenging economic climate.”

“Voiceserve has a proven track record of providing innovative and cost effective solutions and our customers are increasingly looking to us to help deliver cost savings. We believe the Company is well placed to win further market share,” Bibelman added.

Consumers can access the application via the Android play store, BlackBerry app world, Windows marketplace and Apple app store, and can be integrated with the carrier’s existing ecosystem.

The VoipSwitch application leverages a compressed voice codec that can ensure optimum voice quality in places where network coverage is weak. The status of the current connection will be highlighted by a quality indicator during a call, said officials.

Voiceserve’s newly launched full suite of mobile softphone dialers is most suitable for various operating systems. It can be incorporated on mobile smart phones as well. The company’s advanced video conferencing software can be used on tablets and smartphones.

In July 2012 Voiceserve launched its VoIP switch in the GSMA Asia exhibition in Shanghai, China and CommunicAsia 2012 in Singapore.

The latest advancement in both smartphone technology and the cloud backbone has made the company’s Voipswitch products suitable for major industries. VoipSwitch is a software platform that accelerates the rollout of VoIP services and helps in successful implementation of various VoIP services. Voiceserve’s Enhanced Rich Communication Suite or eRCS enhances personal mobile communications significantly.
