Ortsbo, a provider of real-time, cross-language communication services, has announced it was selected by CloudTime, a new digital trans-media company based in China, to provide global communications for their new China-based social media network and branded content platform.
CloudTime, which is set to launch this summer, provides a global networking portal for social media, branded content and related mobile applications.
The increasing relevance of social networks on people’s lives has a direct impact on businesses across the world, especially in countries like China.
Thanks to the partnership, people can connect with each other for business purposes or for building global friendships online, in a truly transformative way. CloudTime instantly transforms content and communications in multiple languages - even to users with no foreign language skills.
According to a recent report from China Internet Network Information Center, social media is fueling dramatic growth in eCommerce with 41.8 percent of online buyers in China indicating they purchased something because they first heard about it through social media.
Despite this, language barriers are preventing people from interacting with global communities. In China, most social media users are connected with people who converse in the same language.
Ortsbo Technology helps CloudTime address these issues and provide a social networking platform that allows its users to build networks globally.
"Our partnership with CloudTime is precisely aligned with Ortsbo's vision to truly transform real-time textual communications to allow a high fidelity communication experience to occur between people across languages,” said Ortsbo CEO Patrick Bultema.
“This partnership also underscores our focus on markets where all parties are able to monetize the benefits of global intercommunication."
