Chorus Call and Hitachi Establish Chorus Call Asia

Chorus Call and Hitachi (News - Alert) High-Technologies have teamed on establishing regional services provider - Chorus Call Asia Kabushiki Kaisha.

The new entity is the result of a year long collaboration between Chorus Call, the Compunetix Video Systems Division (VSD) and Hitachi High-Technologies that aims to develop a strong brand and services approach for the Japanese communications market. 

Chorus Call Asia Kabushiki Kaisha will serve as a provider of advanced hosted conferencing and collaboration solutions for clients in this part of the world.

Launched on April 1, 2013 in Tokyo, Japan, the new entity will offer a wide range of collaboration and conferencing solutions including on-site managed services and fully hosted services.

"We are excited to make official the launch of our joint venture," said Tadao Kondo , president and CEO of the newly formed company. "The EVERGREEN video and the Summit audio platforms, along with the global Chorus Call follow-the-sun operations, allow us to offer an exceptional, high-quality service to our discriminating client base."

Both partners claim that Chorus Call Asia Kabushiki Kaisha has already converted significant corporate customers to the service.

Built upon the CONTEX Summit and the EVERGREEN collaboration media processors, the new service promises high reliability and quality for customers.

Headquartered in Monroeville, PA, Chorus Call provides local and international customers with advanced and feature-rich audio and video collaboration tools. Earlier this year, it partnered with Compunetix Video Systems Division to co-host VCIG Live!, an interactive videoconferencing and streaming event.
