4PSA Unveils VoipNow SPE

Cloud-based unified communications allow users to receive real-time information, allowing them to create, moderate and join pre-planned audio, video and Web meetings. It brings together voice, collaboration, messaging and call center services into a single, easy-to-use application.

4PSA has released VoipNow, Service Provider Edition (SPE), based on a new, third-generation cloud platform that enhances service management and promotes customer innovation.

The new software can run distributed and across various computing nodes. These nodes can be provisioned in a public or private cloud infrastructure. They consist of the Web tools that managers require to manage such installations.

The price of deploying and supporting environments that can serve millions of customers is therefore considerably lower.

The high-performance distributed database in the VoipNow Service Provider Edition creates a scalable and effective infrastructure. Offering more than 100,000 queries per second, even on modest hardware, 4PSA's patent-pending database engine features Native High Availability.

“Throughout the development of VoipNow SPE, a lot of effort has been invested into identifying all the elements that would make our customers more successful and efficient. We focused on three main areas: infrastructure, customer service, and automation. On the infrastructure side, we included the Cloud Manager that provides assistance in distributed deployments, we addressed the customer flexibility with a new API and Apps support, and we included all automation tools previously bundled with a different product", said Bogdan Carstoiu, 4PSA's CEO.

4PSA offers more choices in service management and customer innovation in UC software in the cloud. Created to bring together the tools telecom carriers and service providers require, the third-generation application has more than 100 new features.
