Chinese State Grid Power Certifies Tadiran Telecom's Aeonix Solution

The Chinese State Grid power has certified the Tadiran (News - Alert) Telecom’s Aeonix solution for use in China.

Officials said that Aeonix is a UC&C solution that consolidates disparate business applications into a single communications platform and is designed to grow and adapt intelligently to changing customer needs.

According to company officials, Aeonix's scalability can extend customer networks based on current demand and changing needs. Its open architecture allows customers the flexibility to buy and install only what they currently need, and to add users, remote locations, and additional applications as they become necessary, by just acquiring software licenses.

"This recognition by the Chinese State Grid Power, in one of Tadiran Telecom's most important markets, is an acknowledgment of Aeonix's innovative technology and flexibility. We are looking forward to working with this prestigious customer to implement Tadiran Telecom's comprehensive UC&C technology," said Eldad Barak, president and CEO of Tadiran Telecom, in a statement.

It is worth mentioning here that Tadiran Telecom has been involved with many large projects in China over the past few years in vertical markets such as: power and energy, subway and operators.

Tadiran Telecom had announced the acquisition of EasyRun's (News - Alert) technology and intellectual property. EasyRun's EPICCenter technology will be integrated into Tadiran Telecom's Linux-based Unified Communication platform which will be introduced to the market next week.

Since its launch in 1991, EasyRun has provided powerful and intuitive VoIP contact center solutions that can run on legacy or IP-PBX (News - Alert) platforms. These solutions allow customers to add a mutlimedia contact center solution without having to make major changes to their existing telephony infrastructure.

EasyRun’s installed base of over 3000 locations worldwide will have the option to join Tadiran's client base and benefit from a wider range of Unified Communication solutions.
