Mitel (News - Alert), a specialist provider of business communications, collaboration software and services, recently awarded the 2012 Unified Communications Specialist Partner of the Year award to SunTel Services. SunTel specializes in offering services for enterprise networks to businesses throughout Michigan and across the nation.
This award is conferred upon Mitel Partners who have successfully demonstrated their technical ability and expertise surrounding unified communications. The award also takes into consideration the partners’ credibility in obtaining the required technical and sales certifications.

The award was presented to SunTel at the Mitel Partner Conference which was held in San Diego. SunTel was also officially recognized as a Mitel Platinum Partner at the ceremony, which means that SunTel is now allowed to resell and distribute the full Mitel suite of unified communications software solutions.
SunTel has numerous Mitel designations which include certification in four areas of Mitel's Technical Accreditation Program (TAP). This is an innovative and specialized accreditation program which has been customized to assist partners differentiate the different Mitel sales channels by assisting them to attain and promote the technical and sales certifications which are needed to deploy and service contemporary communications solutions from Mitel.
Some of SunTel's TAP certifications include Mobility Specialist, Contact Center Specialist, Virtualized Voice Specialist and Unified Communications Specialist. These certifications are further proof that SunTel has the relevant technical and sales expertise that is required to deploy the latest technologies in voice, video, virtual and other integrated networking solutions.
