Teo Makes Unified Communications Technology Easy and Efficient

August 03, 2012

Unified Communications (UC) is one of those technologies that has quickly come to be embraced by almost every type of business today. IT managers in a huge variety of different companies understand the real value of using UC. With the right UC provider, there is almost no limit to the kind of business communications that a company can pull off. Of course, if you happen to be using the wrong UC provider, a company can find itself dealing with problems instead of solutions. While previous projections for UC growth projected it to hit $1 billion by the end of 2013, problems arose when it became obvious that most unified communications solutions were just too difficult for the average business client to use.

There are companies out there that have identified this particular problem and are working on solutions that will make it that much easier to take advantage of all that UC technology has to offer. Teo is one such company that has identified the different strengths and weaknesses of the UC industry and managed to boil it down to something clients will want to use, rather that stay away from.

Teo worked to make UC solutions easier to use by first examining what the existing experience was like for both IT professionals and the average user who wasn’t trained in high tech usage. Once there had been some true reflection on their findings, the unified communications provider realized that in order to stand out from a growing pack of companies that had made UC their priority, they needed to deliver power without added complexity.

Now the company offers a line of UC products that includes a single Teo server, an offering that is extremely powerful and can be set up to handle a wide range of different call capacities. Teo also offers a program called Softphone which integrates video calling, instant messaging, voice and e-mail into one package seamlessly. The organization also employs a smartphone application that makes using the UC solutions that much easier.

Adopting this approach has allowed Teo to truly move to the head of the pack when it comes to unified communications.
