The newly launched Aspect (News - Alert) Community is an online peer-to-peer portal that allows Aspect users, partners, technology experts and business innovators to share ideas, find resources, exchange information, discuss best practices and ask questions.

The portal features discussion boards, blogs, forums, documents and other content posted by members of the community, and it is open to the company’s customers, industry thought leaders and prospective customers and consultants. Members will find the portal very useful by engaging with other users and peers through participating in discussions, information-gathering, and sharing of best practices.

“The aim of the Aspect Community is to create a collaborative environment for Aspect customers, peers and industry experts to engage with each other to share product ideas, tips and techniques and industry best practices. This peer-to-peer network is an important addition to existing customer communication and support channels such as the Aspect Technical Services site and the Partner Resource Center site”, said Gwen Braygreen, senior vice president of Technical Services at Aspect, in a press release.

Aspect emphasized that members will have complete control of the notifications they receive and how often they appear in their Aspect Community profile preferences. By default, the Aspect Community will provide them with notifications of community events directly related to them and also a daily summary of community activity. Community members browse and interact in spaces specific to their areas of interest and features, such as rating and following content and context-sensitive searches. A personal profile will allow users to access and respond to events that matter to them most.

The new Aspect Community space is seen as a valuable tool to gather information around implementing new versions of Aspect products. Its inclusion of a space for the Aspect Software Users Group Association (ASUGA) will be instrumental to the user community, providing ways to interact in a multi-faceted environment and find out about upcoming local user group events.
