PortaOne Platform Offers Wide Array of VoIP Solutions

April 10, 2012

IP-based communications technologies such as virtual PBX (News - Alert), SIP trunking, and VoIP phones are far most effective than traditional and extremely outdated technologies.

Recently PortaOne, a provider of VoIP billing and subscriber management platform, revealed that its PortaSwitch platform has been selected by WorldCall, a Belgium-based provider of VoIP solutions that address the needs of its customers that include service providers, resellers and end users.

Since 2005, WorldCall has built a number of products atop PortaSwitch, which has helped the company keep its competitive edge. In addition, the excellent functionality and flexibility of PortaSwitch has helped the provider to achieve multiple benefits.

PortaSwitch is a VoIP infrastructure solution that comprises a real-time billing system, class 4/5 SIP softswitch, and media applications that deliver converged VoIP billing and provisioning, SIP call control, unified messaging, IP Centrex and hosted IP PBX, callback management, IVRs, conferencing and more.

The robust VoIP solution has the ability to handle complete call control, routing, proxying, and converged billing functions of a diversified digital services company.

“WorldCall is very satisfied with PortaSwitch's reliability and functionality, as well as the ease with which we can develop and implement new modules as needed," said Alex Grichine, WorldCall Manager, in a statement.

"As a subscriber to PortaOne's (News - Alert) PortaCare service, we also receive fast and professional technical support whenever we need it, 24/7,” Grichine added. “With PortaSwitch we're able to offer the unique technologies that, in turn, let our customers do their own business."

WorldCall, according to company officials, has set itself apart in this highly crowded global market by building a set of proprietary and highly marketable VoIP tools and services.

"When you're talking to customers that range from service providers to resellers and end-users, you have to be able to offer virtually everything the industry needs, and then some," Grichine stated. "PortaSwitch lets us do that."
