Polycom's RealPresence Platform Drives New Video Conferencing Service from VNPT

Vietnam Post & Telecommunication (VNPT) recently introduced a new MegaConference subscription-based video conferencing service for the enterprise. The new cloud-delivered video conferencing service which leverages the Polycom RealPresence Platform has been designed as a face-to-face communication solution based on a pay-as-you-use model. Businesses using the solution will now benefit from a more efficient anywhere and anytime collaboration.

VNPT decided to use the Polycom RealPresence Platform for its reliability and because the solution could easily integrate with the company’s networking and security infrastructure. This integration has helped in ensuring the delivery of secure collaboration over heterogeneous networks with a substantial reduction in bandwidth consumption by close to 50 percent.
