CounterPath Wins Three 2011 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Awards

TMC (News - Alert), a global, integrated media company, has recognized CounterPath's Bria iPhone Edition, Bria iPad Edition and Bria Android (News - Alert) Edition mobile softphones as recipients of the 2011 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award.

Robert Brown, vice president of Product Marketing said that TMC's acknowledgement of three Bria product editions is continued evidence of CounterPath's leadership.

To meet up with the growing demand, CounterPath has even enhanced Bria iPhone (News - Alert) and Android (News - Alert) softphones features and the two most popular instant messaging and presence protocols, XMPP and SIP SIMPLE will be now supported by Bria. This has enabled instant messaging on the softphones and the support for real-time presence management has been included as a premium feature.
