Broadcore and LightSquared Sign Wholesale Services Agreement
A wholesale services agreement has been signed by LightSquared and Broadcore. Broadcore will be now able to deliver its solutions over LightSquared's 4G-LTE network under this agreement. A nationwide wireless broadband network is being built by the wholesale carrier, LightSquared. Broadcore is a nationwide provider of all-in-one business communications services.
An extensible suite of business-class hosted unified communications services is offered by Broadcore. These include VoIP, video, IM and presence, conferencing and mobility communications. Midmarket businesses and organizations in the public sector will find these services ideal. Broadcore now has a reliable 4G wireless broadband network on which they can run their solutions with LightSquared. The time taken to deploy broadband services for its customers will be also reduced by Broadcore through this agreement.
In a release, Monty Ferdowsi, president and founder of Broadcore, said, "Broadcore is focused on offering the most efficient next-generation communications solutions possible so our clients can make their business processes more effective. With LightSquared, we can more quickly deploy our solutions using an advanced, nationwide wireless broadband network and reduce our clients' total cost of ownership."
LightSquared already has many wholesale customers with Broadcore being the 34th customer. Broadcore is now a part of LightSquared’s rapidly growing ecosystem. These include carriers, device manufacturers, nationwide retailers, regional phone companies and mobile content providers.
Sanjiv Ahuja, chairman and CEO of LightSquared, said, "LightSquared is enabling Broadcore to more cost-effectively deliver their rich portfolio of hosted communications services to their customers. Delivering their solutions over LightSquared's network is a competitive differentiator and supports Broadcore's commitment to comprehensive client support."
