ShoreTel Enterprise Contact Center Achieves VMware Ready Status

ShoreTel, a provider of simple IP phone systems with fully integrated unified communications (UC), announced that its Enterprise Contact Center has achieved VMware Ready status.

In a release Sheryl Sage, director, alliance programs, VMware said, “We are pleased that ShoreTel’s Enterprise Contact Center qualifies for the VMware Ready logo, signifying to customers that it has passed specific VMware testing and interoperability criteria and is ready to run in production environments.”

According to company sources this designation indicates that ShoreTel’s Enterprise Contact Center has successfully passed evaluation and testing processes managed by VMware. It will now be included in the VMware Partner Product Catalog.

Passing the extensive VMware-specified testing criteria highlights the fact that Enterprise Contact Center leverages VMware technology and is ready for deployment in customer environments.

The VMware TAP program has over 2,000 members worldwide and it works with technology partners to provide them a comprehensive set of VMware technical and marketing services, support, tools and expertise. The VMware Ready program is a VMware co-branding program for qualified partner products and is a benefit of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program, said officials.
