Andrea Electronics Participates in Annual WIRED Store
At the ongoing 2011 annual WIRED Store in Times Square, Friday, Nov. 18 through Saturday, Dec. 24, Andrea Electronics Corporation has announced the participation of their boom-free USB SuperBeam headsets.
With enthusiastic reviews from unified communications, the New York Times Tech Talk, USA Today, the Gadget Guy, the Mac Observer and many more, the SuperBeam headsets have been well-received, and have been made available to consumers in September, 2011. While Robin, from Living in Digital Times called the SuperBeam headsets a “real breakthrough device,” the Mac Observer said, “The sound is clear, the bass is solid, and conversations are crisp,” the company stated in a press release.
“We are excited to give consumers the full SuperBeam experience in this year’s WIRED Store,” said Doug Andrea, president of Andrea Electronics Corporation. “Participating in the WIRED interactive showcase is a truly exceptional opportunity, and we believe that with the growth of VoIP calling, video creation, multiplayer gaming and voice recognition software, the introduction of our SuperBeam family couldn’t come at a better time.”
Consumers will have the chance to experience the latest in PC headset/headphone technology through an interactive demonstration of Andrea’s New SuperBeam boom-less USB headsets as part of WIRED’s interactive showcase. Apart from showing how easy it is to make 3D surround sound HD audio recordings with the SuperBeam headsets, consumers will be able to hear firsthand the high-definition audio playback through an automated demonstration.
Recently, the company was named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its SuperBeam Buds. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 32 product categories.
