ShoreTel (News - Alert), a provider of IP phone systems with fully integrated unified communications (UC) and contact center capabilities, has inked an expanded distribution agreement with Windstream (News - Alert), a communications and technology solutions provider.
This new agreement will enable Windstream to offer ShoreTel's complete solution set, including ShoreTel Unified Communications (News - Alert), ShoreTel Contact Center and ShoreTel Mobility to its business customers.
Windstream even took a trial of all the solutions for six-months in Atlanta, Ga.; Greenville, S.C.; Orlando, Fla.; Kansas City, Mo.; St. Louis, Mo.; and Tulsa, Okla., and now it is expanding the offering of ShoreTel solutions to business customers across Windstream's 29-state footprint.
Don Perkins, Windstream vice president of business marketing said this expanded agreement with ShoreTel allows them to utilize the sales and technical experience gained in their trial markets to offer an expanded Unified Communications solution to customers all across their footprint.
“Service and delivery remain top of mind to Windstream, so we are excited to provide a solution known for delivering an outstanding experience with each and every communication,” Perkins added.
ShoreTel UC system, ShoreTel's Contact Center solution is backed by highly reliable voice capabilities to offer ease in connecting internal and external customers to the right agent at the right time. These results in lower costs that can help transform a contact center into a revenue center, according to the company officials.
Whereas, the newest addition to the ShoreTel portfolio, ShoreTel's Mobility solution, extends the full power of an enterprise communication system to a mobile device, setting users free to communicate from any location by enabling access to any cellular or Wi-Fi network, simply and cost effectively.
Mark Arman, vice president of business development for ShoreTel said that their company is committed to helping customers succeed by offering comprehensive communications solutions that eliminate complexity and help reduce costs; partnering with Windstream reinforces this business promise.
“Windstream shares this goal, and together we are looking forward to delivering on that vision with product and service excellence, as we continue to rapidly grow with net new markets and customers,” Arman added.
