YouSendIt Achieves Microsoft Silver Unified Communications Competency
Campbell, Calif. based provider of business content collaboration services, YouSendIt, reportedly achieved a Silver Unified Communications Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network. The certification reflects YouSendIt’s ability to meet Microsoft customers' evolving needs in today's dynamic business environment.
The Microsoft Silver Competency certification recognizes vendors as specialized technology experts. Various levels of Microsoft Partner Network awards are intended to help customers identify services and solution providers that have demonstrated proof of their capability to deliver quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. To earn a Microsoft Silver Competency certification, partners are required to prove their level of technology expertise and complete a set of rigorous tests. In addition, the partners are also required to submit customer references and employ or contract the required number of Microsoft Certified Professionals who are skilled on current technology relevant for the competency.
Microsoft Partners that deliver products and services through the Microsoft platform are also eligible to get training, resources and support from Microsoft. This helps the partners provide their customers superior experience and outcomes.
In a press release, YouSendIt claims to be the first business content collaboration service to offer an integrated approach for sending, sharing and signing documents online. Working seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook and Exchange, YouSendIt's cloud-based Corporate Suite helps offload attachments from Microsoft Exchange servers, preventing bottlenecks and improving capacity. The solution, according to its maker, enables users to collaborate securely without changing the way they currently work. The company currently has more than 20 million registered users in 193 countries.
“We pride ourselves on being the only business content collaboration service that can support the most popular technology environments. So much of the business world runs on Microsoft products, which is why we're enthusiastic about helping enterprises extend these product investments with easy-to-use extranet collaboration capabilities,” Chris Badger, director of enterprise business development at YouSendIt, noted in a statement.
In a separate press release, YouSendIt announced its partnership with WinZip Computing, a provider of a popular Zip utility for Windows. Under the terms of the partnership, both companies will collaborate to bring the YouSendIt platform to ZipSend, which is a new file delivery service from WinZip.
