Inc. magazine has selected PanTerra (News - Alert) Networks to its 500/5000 list for the second consecutive year, the company has announced.

Being the most comprehensive look at an important segment of the US economy -- SMBs and independent entrepreneurs -- the Inc. 500/5000 list is an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent, in a stagnant economic environment, the company stated in a press release.

Arthur Chang (News - Alert) said, "It is a privilege to be recognized by Inc. magazine for a second consecutive year along with the other strongest revenue growth companies in the US. PanTerra is very fortunate for the rapid adoption of cloud-based unified communications services for SMB enterprises. Consistent demand for our advanced Cloud-UC services across many industry verticals has enabling us to continue our rapid growth."

Showing an increase of up 14 percent from last year, the companies on this year's list have reportedly created 350,000 jobs in the past three years and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion. Among other prominent brands featured on this year's list, PanTerra Networks joins Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, Honest Tea, Dunkin Donuts and Metrokane.

Inc. is the only major business magazine dedicated exclusively to owners and managers of growing private companies that delivers real solutions for today's innovative company builders and it was founded in 1979 and acquired in 2005 by Mansueto Ventures LLC.

In July 2010, the company announced that it has introduced a free UC service, TryUC, a Business to Customer Communications (B2C) cloud-based service that provides businesses of WorldSmart a competitive advantage. TryUC is a free version of the company’s WorldSmart unified communication service. It can be used to augment sales, productivity and customer satisfaction. It is neither a trial app nor a "timeout" app. PanTerra's WorldSmart is a cloud-based UC solution.
