PathSolutions and ShoreTel Team on Improving Call Quality
PathSolutions has achieved validation as an Alliance member in the ShoreTel Innovation Network.
PathSolutions provides automated network performance monitoring software. A combination of its VoIP Monitor and the ShoreTel connector enables PathSolutions VoIP Monitor to identify poor quality calls in the ShoreTel CDR database and correlate these calls with the network conditions at the time of the call.
Monitoring of call quality is now very simple because emailed alerts can be sent if poor quality calls. This means administrators can easily identify the location and anomaly in the network that caused call of unacceptable quality.
“PathSolutions software easily identifies the root-cause of network anomalies that may cause poor quality voice calls,” said Kevin Gavin, chief marketing officer at ShoreTel. “It has proven to be very easy to use and considerably more in-depth than other tools we’ve seen. We’re very pleased to have them join the Innovation Network.”
“We have been working with ShoreTel for some time and have been impressed with the ease of deployment and power of their system,” said Tim Titus, founder and CTO of PathSolutions. “We are honored to be recognized as an Alliance member that can help both their customers and partners with network assessments as well as long-term monitoring of call quality and network health.”
PathSolutions notes that its Total Network Visibility Suite of change how engineering effort is utilized. Its solutions for VoIP and data networks have the ability to automatically monitor the health and performance of every switch, router, server, and link in data or VoIP networks of any size.
The company also claims that its VoIP Monitor is the only solution that identifies where and why a VoIP call went bad, and then recommends a fix.
