ShoreTel Earns "Strong Positive" in Gartner's MarketScope for Unified Communications for the SMB Market

ShoreTel, a provider of IP phone systems with fully integrated unified communications (UC), announced it has received a “Strong Positive,” in Gartner's “MarketScope for Unified Communications for the SMB Market, North America” report.

“Our large base of global SMB customers is already reaping the benefits of ShoreTel's brilliantly simple unified communications solution,” said Peter Blackmore, CEO of ShoreTel, in a statement.

“We believe receiving Gartner's highest rating possible, ‘Strong Positive,’ confirms our position in the market and our commitment to providing low total cost of ownership and continuously improving customer satisfaction that meet the unique challenges of SMB businesses,” Blackmore added.

Gartner’s rating “Strong Positive” indicates that the company is a provider of strategic products, services or solutions. The rating is also given on the assumption that customers continue with planned investments. Potential customers consider this as a strong choice for strategic investments.

ShoreTel’s Unified Communication (UC) solutions are based on its award-winning IP business phone system. The feature-rich ShoreTel UC system offers the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) and the highest customer satisfaction in the industry, the company claims.

Recently ShoreTel also announced it has received the highest ratings for IP telephony products from IT decision makers in the Nemertes Research annual PilotHouse Awards report.

This is for the eighth year in a row that the company is receiving the Nemertes PilotHouse Award for Top IP Telephony Provider among Market Challengers.

The rating was given based on the views and experiences of more than 2,000 users of IP telephony systems. ShoreTel received overall score of 4.32 and it was above all vendors examined.
