Video Guidance, a visual communications company, announced that it has been named a Gold Solution Provider of Polycom (News - Alert), a global provider of unified communications (UC).
As a Gold Solution Provider, Video Guidance can reinforce its sales acumen and technical expertise. The title will also enable the company to offer best-in-class UC solutions to customers.

Company officials said Polycom’s end-to-end unified communications will be demonstrated at Video Guidance’s Bloomington headquarters.
The recognition enables Video Guidance to view Polycom solutions, from desktop to room and immersive telepresence, including the Polycom Video Content Management (VCM) platform.

Due to its innovative marketing strategies, the company has reported a 64 percent increase in booked sales and 38 percent increase in revenue during the second quarter of 2011 over the same period in 2010. The company has also had a 43 percent increase in booked sales during the second quarter of 2011 over the first quarter of 2011.
Recently, Video Guidance announced the installation of video communications system at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital to connect young patients with their families.
