Mitcel Names Windstream 2011's Top U.S. Channel Partner

Mitel has named Windstream Corp. as the Top Revenue Channel Partner of the Year.  Windstream also has been named the Enterprise Channel Partner of the Year and Service Provider Channel Partner of the Year, in the U.S. region.

The Mitel Business Partner Conference 2011 was held on June 3 at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Fla. The annual awards were presented to the channel partners from around the world at this conference. They were recognized for their outstanding business performance, customer satisfaction and increased revenue performance. They were also recognized for technical expertise, and overall growth in FY 2011.

The highest levels of business performance, expertise, sales achievement and customer satisfaction that Mitel seeks in its channel partners were exemplified by Windstream. Windstream is now a Mitel Diamond Partner after being named as Mitel's Top Revenue Channel Partner of the Year in the U.S. region.

In a release, Don Perkins who is the VP of Business Marketing for Windstream said, "Windstream is proud to combine efforts with Mitel in offering a broad portfolio of unified communications solutions to respond to the diverse needs of our customers, both large and small".

Productivity enhancing solutions can be offered by Windstream in collaboration with Mitel. These include call center functionality and advanced mobility which is required by larger enterprise customers. Cost saving solutions can also be delivered by Mitel and Windstream. Apart from retaining customers, businesses of all sizes are also able to easily attract and connect to their own customers.
