Mitel Rewards its Channel Partners for their Contribution

June 13, 2011

Mitel, a provider of unified communications and collaboration (UCC) software solutions, recently recognized its channel partners at the Mitel Business Partner Conference 2011 at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida on June 3, 2011. Mitel presented awards to its channel partners for their outstanding business performance, customer satisfaction, increased revenue performance, technical expertise, and overall growth in FY 2011.

"I would like to congratulate all of the 2011 Mitel Business Partner Conference winners," said Rich McBee, Mitel president and CEO, in a press release. "It is important to us that we continue to build a best in class network of channel partners to help us deliver to our customers tailored unified communications and collaboration solutions based on the Mitel Freedom architecture. We commend the dedication and hard work of all our channel partners."

Through its solutions, Mitel provides the flexibility and simplicity organizations need to support today's dynamic work environment. The company delivers a powerful suite of advanced communications and collaboration capabilities that provides freedom from walled garden architectures and enables organizations to implement best-of-breed solutions on any network; extends the "in-office" experience anywhere, on any device; and offers choice of commercial options to fit business needs.

To improve the partners’ experience with technologies like unified communications and contact center applications, Mitel recently introduced its new Technical Accreditation Program (TAP). Like other certification programs, TAP is a comprehensive, multi-vendor certification program for Mitel authorized PARTNERS. According to a press release, this program will enable Mitel’s partners to recognize its capabilities in deploying virtualized voice, mobility, contact center, and UC solutions. Mitel channel partners can achieve specialized designations within TAP to differentiate their skill set. TAP includes four sub-programs: Mitel Mobility Specialist, Mitel Unified Communications Specialist, Mitel Contact Center Specialist and Mitel Virtualized Voice Specialist.
