IAS to Deploy Unified Communications for a Global Enterprise

May 03, 2011

Looking for rich corporate multimedia communications, a global enterprise that specializes in Fortune 1000 information security solutions has selected Microsoft Lync, which will be deployed by Integrated Access Solutions' (IAS) senior consulting group.

The business managers decided to transition all corporate communications and messaging functions to Microsoft Lync and Exchange 2010, with the help of Integrated Access Solutions' (IAS) senior consulting group. Key decision drivers were a single client for all corporate communications including Presence, Instant Messaging, Voice, Video, Meet-Me-Audio Bridge, Webinar Solutions, Email and Voice Mail with Speech to Text Translation and Outlook Voice Access.

Microsoft Lync ushers in a new connected user experience transforming every communication into an interaction that is more collaborative, engaging, and accessible from anywhere, the company has stated.

“Acceptance by a company that operates globally is a perfect example of the business community making the shift away from outdated approaches and expensive offerings by legacy communications providers like Cisco and Shoretel,” stated IAS Senior Consulting team led by Bob Murphy and David Langlois. “With Microsoft Lync and Exchange 2010, we can create a fertile environment for dramatic increases in employee productivity. Business managers are literally ecstatic about adopting this approach instead of dreading the process”

Utilizing HP network infrastructure, AudioCodes gateways, Plantronics and Polycom endpoints, IAS designed a comprehensive, High-Availability solution. IAS is providing their Lync Managed UC Platform that includes real time system monitoring, help desk, and proactive support. The company is a highly specialized consulting firm that helps companies strategically align unified communications and unified contact center technologies.

The company held Microsoft Office 365 Sneak Peak Event recently which brought together Cloud versions of Microsoft’s most trusted communications and collaboration products with the latest version of their desktop suite for businesses of all sizes. The attendees had a chance to learn how you’ll have anywhere access to your favorite Microsoft Office products complete with IT-level phone support and guaranteed 99.9 percent uptime with Office 365.
