Avotus Corporation Joins the Cisco Developer Network
Avotus Corporation, a 30 year old provider of telecom management services, including telecom expense management, eProcurement and usage management solutions, recently announced its joining of the Cisco Developer Network as a Registered Developer within the Unified Communications technology category.
The Cisco Developer Network was created to bring Cisco and the third-party developers of hardware and software closer so that it becomes possible for Cisco and its partner companies to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers.
As a Registered Developer in Cisco Developer family, Avotus will be able to offer a range of products that complement Cisco standards. As a registered member of Cisco Developer Network, Avotus will also start collaborating Cisco to meet the needs of joint customers, the company officials revealed in a press release.
Under its Avotus Adaptive Communications model, Avotus has been helping Global 2000 companies transform their telecommunications spend. The model comprises of a slew of strategic set of services including Communications Assessment capabilities, which help identify, diagnose and understand business problems and opportunities; Advisory Services, which provide valuable insight into clients’ telecom challenges and offer both technical and business process-related solutions which bring enhanced value to our clients; Managed Services, which provide specific business process and service support; and Outsourcing Services.
In the press release, the company further announced that its ICM UNITY has successfully completed interoperability testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, 8.5.
ICM UNITY from Avotus allows customers to more quickly deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices, or services for enhancing the capabilities, performance, and management of their Cisco network.
A the beginning of the current year, Avotus received 2010 INTERNET TELEPHONY TEM Excellence Award from Technology Marketing Corporation for its ICM eProcurement, with the 2010 INTERNET TELEPHONY TEM Excellence Award.
unified communications reported that the award was specifically offered to Avotus ICM eProcurement WebAuction product, a full-service offering designed to help enterprises maximize savings and operational flexibility through its on-line automated procurement business process. Avotus eP, by using its patented 66-step process, creates more competition along with improved decision support through automated analytics, claimed its maker.
